       Did you know that textiles make  up a shocking amount of US waste?

The EPA reports that Americans generate 16 million tons of textile waste a year with a staggering 10 million tons sent to landfills.

TBS’s Green Team is organized a Coat Drive through the holiday of Sukkot in an effort to    help keep these textiles out of landfills.

This year, we were able to collect nearly 70 coats & other winter wear items! We were able to pass them along to Jewish Family Services for distribution to families in need.
