       Did you know that textiles make  up a shocking amount of US waste?

The EPA reports that Americans generate 16 million tons of textile waste a year with a staggering 10 million tons sent to landfills.

TBS’s Green Team is organizing a Coat Drive through the holiday of Sukkot in an effort to help keep these textiles out of landfills.

Please look through your closets and set aside any gently used winter wear. We will collect your items in our Sukkah from Sukkot Shabbat through Simchat Torah. All donated items will be passed off to adults & children in need of a warm coat for the colder seasons. Thank you for supporting the Su-"Coat" Drive!
